PPL Electric Utilities delivers safe, reliable and affordable electricity to more than 1.5 million homes and businesses across eastern and central Pennsylvania. Mindgrub partnered with the utility to build a native iOS and Android app that gives customers a secure, convenient way to manage accounts, pay bills and report outages. The app builds on the same proven framework behind PPL Corporation’s award-winning LG&E and KU app.
The team designed a personalized bill root screen, biometric-secured sign-in, real-time outage mapping through KUBRA and credit card payments through Paymentus, all built for customers with a wide range of technological comfort and accessibility needs.
The app has already reached 100K+ downloads and a 4.6-star rating in the App Store, giving PPL Electric Utilities a modern, always-on way to meet customers wherever they are.
