The Web Excellence Awards competition is open to both individuals and organizations involved in creating websites, digital media content, marketing and advertising campaigns, social media projects, and related projects. If you’ve previously submitted a project to a past Web Excellence Awards competition, you can still enter it in the current one, giving it another chance to shine.

At our organization, we highly value and encourage diversity, fostering an environment that promotes creativity. As a result, there are no restrictions on the number of entries or categories for submissions. In fact, submitting your work in multiple categories can potentially increase your chances of winning an award. Join us to unlock limitless opportunities for recognition and growth!

At our organization, diversity and inclusivity are fundamental values that we prioritize. We aim to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected. To that end, we kindly ask all participants to submit entries that exemplify respect, inclusivity, and appropriateness for all audiences. Any entries containing inappropriate or discriminatory content will result in disqualification, and entry fees will not be refunded.

All entries submitted to the Web Excellence Awards program will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Innovation and creativity
2. Functionality and usability
3. Content and overall user experience
4. Visual design and aesthetics
5. Technical quality and performance
6. Overall experience and impact

Once entries are closed, a panel of judges will review each entry and select the winners. All decisions are at the sole discretion of the Web Excellence Awards program and its judges.

To ensure an equitable evaluation, we kindly request that submissions adhere to specific formats tailored to each category, taking into consideration the unique characteristics of the project type:

1. Websites: Please provide a direct URL for the judges to access and evaluate your website. If it’s password-protected, kindly include the login details for judging purposes. Ensure the web address is valid and remains active after the submission date. Include detailed instructions, along with additional links to complementary materials, such as a presentation or video, to guide judges through a demonstration of how the website works. This will help them understand what makes your entry exceptional and deserving of an award.
2. Advertising & Marketing: Please provide a direct URL that showcases the creative elements of your campaign or links to each component. Make sure to highlight the campaign’s objectives, target audience, strategy, and results. We evaluate the overall impact and effectiveness of your campaigns, giving priority to concept and execution rather than individual design elements.
3. Video & Podcast: Please provide a direct URL for the judges to conveniently access your video or podcast content. Include links to complementary materials, such as a presentation or background information. If it’s password-protected, include login details for judging purposes.
4. Apps & Mobile: Provide a direct URL with a link for the app or links to each creative element. Include detailed instructions, along with additional links to complementary materials, such as a presentation or video, to guide judges through a demonstration of how the website works. If it’s password-protected, include login details for judging purposes.
5. Social: Kindly provide a direct URL that showcases your work for the entry. If the page does not contain all the supporting elements, feel free to include additional links to complementary materials. In the event that the page requires a password, please provide the necessary login credentials.

Please note that all correspondence regarding the competition will be directed exclusively to the contact person specified in the entry form. Only they have the authority to modify their submission. Entrants are allowed to make changes to their entries until the submission deadline. If you would like to edit or withdraw your entry, kindly contact us at info@we-awards.com.

We welcome submissions from all around the globe, encompassing various languages. While we value this diversity, including an English version, if possible, will aid in evaluation and garner wider recognition. For video content and podcasts, exploring options such as English dubbing or subtitles can be beneficial.

Participating in the Web Excellence Awards competition requires an entry fee of €90.00 per category. Entry fees are used to ensure high-quality projects are submitted and to promote our winners in multiple channels. We accept payments through major credit cards and other payment platforms; however, payment options may vary depending on your location. Before submission, please ensure that your entry meets the eligibility requirements.

Please note that entry fees are refundable only until the submission deadline. Once the judging process begins, we are unable to issue any refunds. We strongly encourage all participants to carefully review the competition’s rules and regulations and submit any refund requests, if needed, before the deadline. After that point, we regretfully cannot accommodate refund requests.

Winner trophies and certificates are custom-produced; therefore, these purchases are non-refundable.

By submitting an entry, you confirm that it is original and that you either own it or have obtained proper permission from the client or relevant parties to submit the work. The Web Excellence Awards program disclaims all responsibility for copyright infringement by entrants.
