Bolton was entering a major growth period with a focus on private-sector opportunities, but its website was not communicating the organization’s story, expertise or competitive edge to the audiences that mattered most.
The redesign started with strategy: audience research, personas, user journeys and information architecture work that clarified what made Bolton different and how to put that front and center. The result is a story-driven site built around Bolton’s people, capabilities and proof points, backed by a flexible WordPress platform with a unified design system, three custom templates and three LLM-assisted templates. That gives Bolton room to grow without losing consistency.
The impact showed up fast. Since launch, Bolton has seen a 44.55% year-over-year increase in direct traffic from new users, a 23.21% increase in homepage visits, and a 36.68% jump in Contact Us page visits. Bolton’s response was immediate and enthusiastic, with strong feedback from the start.
