Webfitters was ready for a new website to coincide with a recent rebranding/polishing of the company. Our big, bold look and tagline was something designed to stand out from our competition and needed to be apparent throughout the website. The main goals were to feature the new look and feel while showcasing the company’s talents & services. All of this was to be done in a way that showed off our expertise, spoke directly to our audience, and tried to take the stress out of technology.
Immediately, the opening sequence shows off our big, bold tagline and bright colors. It gives way to the home page which features a hero video nodding to some of the industries we serve. Big, bold copy leads the user’s eye around the page – easily identifying important areas and callouts. As the user scrolls down, a series of animations and iconography are introduced to keep the user experience light and easy. These are followed by a portfolio feed of latest project/client additions and a logo list of software/partners. The page even has a sound option which, when enabled, plays the Webfitters “theme track” along with a variety of other fun interactive sounds – all audio created by our company’s creative director.
The site also features an interactive portfolio, showcasing work sortable by service or industry. Our Insights Blog features educational articles written to inform our audience of the latest trends and technologies for their website. Our Careers section features a video produced in house that speaks to what working at Webfitters is all about. And lastly, our Contact Page – designed to be as simple and easy to use as possible.
The best part of all was that the entire site was built using Webfitters custom CMS – designed to be a flexible solution for businesses who need a custom CMS solution and want to avoid WordPress or Joomla-type solutions.
