Mercy Community Healthcare is a faith-based system offering quality, integrated healthcare services – with a focus of caring for the underserved populations – in both Franklin and Lewisburg, Tennessee. JLB Works was tasked with representing the diversity of Mercy’s patients and emphasizing the brand’s faith-centric messaging.
The JLB team’s design for Mercy is conscious of the medical industry but intentionally avoids the stark and sterile look of typical medical sites. The color scheme and user-friendly elements are inclusive and conducive to the diverse populations Mercy Community Healthcare serves. Simultaneously, the design positions the provider as child-friendly without appearing as if its only practice is pediatrics.
To keep with the human element and relationships-driven aspects of Mercy Community Healthcare, JLB’s design creates a space showcasing real patients and physicians alike. The Impact on Community section of the homepage showcases how – and how well – Mercy served its patients and neighbors last year. The attention and depth dedicated to the Team webpage also allow an opportunity for prospective patients to meet the physicians.
