One Little Independent Records has spent more than four decades championing artists who refuse to compromise. Home to Björk, Crass, Delilah Holliday, Árný Margrét and Nadah El Shazly, the label has built a globally respected catalogue on the strength of its convictions. But its digital presence had fallen behind. A fragmented platform was limiting artist discovery, suppressing merchandise revenue, and failing to reflect the cultural weight of everything the label represents.
11:11 Studio was brought in to change that. Working closely with the OLI team, we designed and built a new digital platform from the ground up, one that unifies artist discovery, editorial storytelling and direct-to-fan commerce into a single, seamless experience.
Artist pages became immersive hubs, bringing together music, releases, editorial content and merchandise in a way that rewards exploration and deepens fan connection. A flexible content system gives the label’s team full control to surface new campaigns, stories and releases as the roster evolves.
The standout feature is an interactive archive experience spanning five decades of releases, allowing fans to move through the label’s history chronologically, rediscover influential records and uncover overlooked gems. It treats the back catalogue not as a dusty archive but as a living, commercially active part of the label’s story.
This is what it looks like when a legendary independent label gets a digital presence that finally matches its cultural stature.
