Overit was approached by the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) with one mammoth task in mind: take the Lake Placid Olympic Sites (LPOS) brand, spread out across a number of different websites, and consolidate them into one master site to streamline the brand and create a one-of-a-kind, easy-to-navigate user experience.
The building of the Lake Placid Olympic Sites websites was a project that required extensive planning and strategizing, meaningful and lighting quick communication, and an application of all of the design, UX, development, and management skills that Overit had to offer. It required not only an application of existing knowledge, but also building on and vastly expanding that knowledge to achieve a goal–together. Through this project, LPOS has effectively grown and synthesized its brand, and Overit has effectively created an exceptional and fulfilling relationship with the ORDA team, doing the kind of work that we’re immensely proud of.
