Launched in January of 2020, the new website for architecture+ was an exciting project and collaborative experience for Overit. The crew here had to work with the team at architecture+ to help them conceptualize a new presence that would help them showcase their work online in a more contemporary manner. The firm’s previous site was stuck in the late 90s style, with a box in the center of the screen where you had to perform all your navigations. Not much was user-friendly, and it was not mobile-first.
The new site launched them into the 21st century, showcasing their projects and areas of expertise in an aesthetically pleasing fashion that enhances the user experience both from a visual and navigational perspective. The biggest challenge was to make sure the visitors felt immersed in the individual project locations without making them feel confined or lost within the site itself.
We look forward to continuing to work with the firm, identifying new creative methods and strategies to showcase their work and enhance their users’ and prospects’ experience while engaging with architecture+.
