Shutterplus, are a window shutter retailer selling DIY window shutters online. They had two very dated WordPress/WooCommerce websites serving the UK and Ireland markets separately. They’re based in Ireland, but their core online market is the UK. This contributes around 25% to the overall business, but the potential for growth was huge. They needed to update their website platform to achieve this.
The initial objective briefed from the client was to focus on the UK site only. However, during the initial consultation we recommended that it would benefit them to migrate and consolidate both sites in order to streamline their business and make their back end processes more efficient – all keeping within the budget and without affecting timescales, which we estimated at 6 months.
Since launch, we’ve seen amazing results. Within the first few weeks, the site was much faster, delivering a much improved user experience with a better conversion rate, and an improvement in revenue. Alongside this we’ve also improved efficiency behind the scenes which has given the client more time to focus on driving other aspects of their business forward.
We’re now working with Shutterplus as their long term digital marketing partner and looking forward to driving further growth through digital channels, as well as making further improvements to the website.
