Universal Health Services (UHS), in collaboration with Modea, and Mental Health Outcomes, developed the Reflections Behavioral Health Companion mobile application to support behavioral health patients throughout their treatment journeys. Designed to provide a seamless and accessible digital experience, the app enhances patient engagement and communication with healthcare providers.
Key features of the app include a Journal that allows patients to respond to provider-assigned prompts or engage in free writing, offering a flexible space for self-reflection. The Progress Graph has been enhanced with improved usability, including clickable dates, swipe functionality, and zoom capabilities, allowing patients to track their mental health progress intuitively.
The UHS Mental Health app plays a vital role in behavioral health by offering patients a structured framework for tracking progress while providing the flexibility to engage with their treatment on a personal level. The app strengthens the connection between patients and providers, enabling real-time communication and progress reflection.
Through ongoing updates and iterative improvements, Modea and UHS have ensured the app remains a dynamic and evolving tool, addressing patient needs and promoting positive mental health outcomes in a secure, accessible environment.
