Complete Website Revitalization Project
The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is the public transit authority serving the South Shore of Montreal, Quebec. With a fleet of over 400 buses and a commitment to sustainable urban mobility, RTL provides essential services to more than 200,000 residents across Longueuil and neighbouring municipalities. Their digital presence is a central component in delivering real-time transit information, route planning, and customer service.
Challenge
Prior to the redesign, RTL’s website faced several challenges:
Outdated Brand: One of the major driving forces for this project was the launch of the new RTL brand. A new logo as well as new colours, fonts and design
Outdated Technology: The existing CMS lacked flexibility and scalability, hindering content management and updates.
Complex User Experience: Users struggled to navigate the site, especially when accessing schedules, routes, and accessibility information.
Multilingual Content Management: Managing content in both French and English was cumbersome, leading to inconsistencies and delays.
Mobile Optimization: The site was not fully optimized for mobile devices, affecting users accessing information on the go.
Solution: Xperience by Kentico DXP
