Liberiq is an AI-powered beauty and wellness platform built for the Croatian market, combining a mobile app and a companion web portal. Lloyds Digital led the whole project, from discovery workshops and UX research through architecture, development and launch.
At its core is an AI Adviser powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation, built on a Qdrant vector database and a combination of large language models selected by task, including GPT-5, GPT-4o and models via AWS Bedrock. Rather than generic suggestions, it surfaces the most relevant pharmacy products for each user’s specific needs and explains how and why to use them, informed by a personalised onboarding flow that captures skin type, health status and lifestyle.
The app integrates real-time eCommerce directly into the advisory experience, pulling live product data from partner pharmacy ERP systems so users can wishlist, filter, review and purchase without leaving the app. A points-based loyalty programme and video consultations with pharmacists and dermatologists add further depth, while a Vue.js and Directus-powered web portal extends the experience with articles and podcasts.
The platform delivers personalised, trustworthy guidance in Croatian, built on React Native, Python with FastAPI, and Vue.js with TypeScript, and shaped by Liberiq’s own brand principles.
