Green Building Alliance has spent three decades connecting architects, developers, manufacturers, and policymakers, and showing that a building can be good for the people inside it and for everything outside it. In 2024, GBA came to Shift Collaborative for a website that would express the fullness of their work and support their members.
Working with GBA’s existing brand, Shift reorganized the existing site content and built what the organization had not had online: a member directory, a project directory with case studies attached, and space to tell stories of impact. GBA’s membership and event registration run on Microsoft Dynamics. The studio rebuilt the connection between it and WordPress so that members join, renew, and register on the site, and staff manage everything in a single system.
The new gba.org lets an architect find a green roof three miles away, read how it got built, and sign up for the workshop where its designer is speaking. GBA has been this region’s authority on green building since 1993. Their website conveys the impact of their work, and supports their ongoing effort.
