The Los Angeles Police Department is the third largest police force in the United States, however, their previous website was a disorganized eyesore. They desperately needed a website that would better serve the citizens of Los Angeles and deliver information visitors needed to find quickly.
After an in-depth discovery period, we crafted a strategy for the LAPD that would give them a user-friendly website with a fresh and clean design. We built upon their existing brand through an expanded color palette and a font pairing that was selected with accessibility in mind. An information architecture was laid out to better organize content on the site to make important information easier to find. The site was built upon an easy-to-use CMS and an innovative solution was crafted to enable admins to keep content fresh and up to date across the site.
