The United Communications website redesign focused on promoting products and services while supporting brand-building content and product/industry education. The platform is built to drive revenue through easier access to product information and e-commerce while highlighting United’s industry-leading customer satisfaction. Specific redesign goals included: 1. the site and content to better promote United’s products and services, 2. making product/service information and resources more easily accessible, 3. highlighting United’s unique mission of building access to high-speed internet in underserved communities (Project UNITE) and our local community engagement.
The rebuild is a complete redesign of the previous website, from top and bottom navigation and sitemap to new page layouts and messaging content. The site has also been integrated with Salesforce CRM and e-commerce capability. Also new to the website is easy-to-toggle Residential vs Business content and English vs Spanish versioning.
Although United is 77 years old as a company, our aggressive internet service expansion into new communities in Middle Tennessee requires substantial brand-building effort. The website serves as a connecting thread between brand introduction and short-term activation for customer sales. United.net is the prime example of how United projects our external voice, valuing our delivery of the best customer experience and our commitment to serving rural communities as much as suburban neighbourhoods.
The updated website is now equipped with a number of special features, including Pop-ups, Alert banners, improved search, surveys, 3rd party integration and more. From a performance standpoint, website metrics have been significantly improved and continue to be optimized over the previous site.
As Snapshot Interactive continues to hone the website, our guidepost is to inspire, internally and externally, to help others achieve their potential by creating access to the world.
