Tinuiti is the largest independent performance marketing firm across Streaming TV and the Triopoly of Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Every year, Tinuiti looks forward to hosting an engaging in-person event called Ad Diego that draws thousands of marketers from across the country, but unfortunately, COVID-19 clearly had other plans. Tinuiti’s marketing team had to quickly pivot to a virtual format and on October 8th, 2020, it hosted ‘Tinuiti Live presents “The Future Reimagined.’ Tinuiti produces multiple webinars each month, but it wanted Tinuiti Live to capture the event atmosphere that everyone was sorely missing.
The event was a huge success, so the team took their learnings and held an even bigger virtual event on April 22, 2021 named ‘Tinuiti Live presents Accelerating Brand Performance.’ Tinuiti implemented aspects to replicate the best part of business conferences—dynamic keynote speakers, multiple track options, peer-to-peer discussion rooms, and one-on-one time with industry experts.
While attendees were able to pick and choose between three session tracks—Martech and Measurement, Media, and Digital-First Creative—the event started with everyone viewing two keynote speakers: Kevin Mayer, former Disney exec & CEO of TikTok, and Anneka Gupta, President of LiveRamp (now Chief Product Officer of Rubrik). The final keynote speaker, CMO of Etsy, Ryan Scott, joined Tinuiti CEO Zach Morrison for a fireside chat.
‘Tinuiti Live presents Accelerating Brand Performance’ welcomed expert speakers from Tinuiti’s top clients and partners such as Ancestry, Audible, Bassett Furniture, Bonobos, Facebook, Klaviyo, Reddit and more. In total, 1,975 people registered for the event, generating over 430 marketing qualified leads (MQLs), including closed deals with multiple well-known brands such as Barnes & Noble College and Rue 21.
