The Teardrop Hotels website, launched in October 2024, was designed to immerse travellers in the brand’s world of understated luxury while driving direct bookings.

Representing a collection of restored colonial boutique hotels in Sri Lanka, the site unites all properties under one cohesive brand platform while giving each hotel its own dedicated sub-site to tell its unique story.

Our design philosophy was simple: let the imagery speak. A minimal, elegant interface, refined typography, and generous white space place full-width photography at the forefront, inviting users to step into each property’s charm. Subtle animations and smooth transitions add a modern polish, while the UX keeps the booking process intuitive and accessible from anywhere on the site.

Every element was built with performance and discoverability in mind. The architecture is fully SEO-optimised, mobile-first responsive, and fine-tuned for speed without compromising on visual impact. From captivating content to technical precision, the site is engineered to inspire, engage, and convert.
