Ontwerpwerk developed an audiovisual platform for Orkest de Ereprijs in which sound shapes both the entry and navigation of the site. An interactive visualiser on the landing page responds to musical compositions in real time, creating a direct relationship between what users hear and what they see. As users move through the page, the audio continues in a reduced interface, allowing the initial encounter to carry into navigation.
Beyond the audiovisual entry, the platform organises a dense and active cultural practice into a legible digital environment without simplifying its complexity. Rather than presenting the organisation through fixed categories, the platform connects concerts, commissions, festivals and background stories into an editorial structure where visitors move associatively between music, people and context. Compositions appear within their programme and context, connecting listening to the broader editorial structure of the platform.
The design enables a small organisation to present multiple programmes as a coherent whole, supporting both artistic ambition and organisational clarity through a consistent, accessible and system-based approach.
