The Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) commissioned Connect to design and build a new website to replace their existing outdated site. In February 2025, a competitive tender process was launched, with Connect emerging as the successful bidder from a pool of 30 agency submissions. The website encompasses two distinct brands and service lines: OSBC and the Fair Payment Code. Connect leveraged the separation of these brands to establish differentiated visual identities and user experiences for each section of the site.

The Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) is an independent public body established by the UK Government to tackle overdue payments and unfavourable payment practices in the private sector. The OSBC determined that their existing website was too limited, negatively affecting both the user experience and their ability to communicate effectively. They identified the need for a new, enhanced website capable of providing the platform necessary to achieve their desired impact. It was important to the OSBC to source a supplier that would work with them to update and deliver this service and provide a dedicated project lead to support them in updating and managing the user journey into the future.
