Every day, Ken-Caryl Ranch residents use the website to register for programs, reserve facilities, explore parks and trails, review meeting agendas and board packets, access governing documents, pay bills, and stay connected to their community. Staff across both the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association and the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District also rely on the website to manage content while supporting transparency and keeping residents informed.
With more than 200 pages spanning two organizations, the project went well beyond a visual redesign. Boomerang Marketing reimagined the website around how residents think rather than around organizational charts, creating an intuitive experience while giving staff the tools to manage content efficiently and keep the site consistent.
The new site has a resident-first information architecture with a comprehensive mega menu and task-based navigation. The homepage and governance pages are designed to prioritize transparency, with quick access to meetings, agendas, board packets, governing documents, and public notices. Custom content types, reusable blocks, and flexible callouts let staff update content once and have it appear across multiple pages.
A custom contractor directory includes an internal review workflow that captures multiple staff evaluations, automatically calculates recommendation ratings, and publishes trusted contractor information. Advanced search, filtering, and responsive design improve the experience across all devices. WCAG-conscious accessibility is integrated throughout the website, and the scalable WordPress platform is built for long-term growth and simplified content management.
The result is a modern digital platform that strengthens transparency, improves operational efficiency, and makes it easier for both residents and staff to find the information they need.
