Keep The Party Safe

Keep The Party Safe
Website
Non-Profit

Keep The Party Safe was created and launched in 2021 by the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention (CCPDAP) in partnership with Amélie Company as a response to the growing number of fentanyl-related overdose deaths in Colorado. The public awareness campaign skips judgment to land important safety messages that help at-risk adults stay safe.

CCPDAP tasked Amélie Company with developing a responsive website that delivered equally on aesthetic and prevention. We knew our audience was “too cool for school” and may be distrustful of authority, so we needed a website that felt native, practical and stigma-free.

The site delivers clear information about fentanyl risks, naloxone use, testing substances with fentanyl test strips, recognizing the signs of overdose, and understanding legal protections under the Good Samaritan Law. Its design focuses on clarity and speed, allowing users to find essential information within seconds, whether they are planning a night out or looking for help in the moment. The homepage uses bold messaging and straightforward language to communicate urgency while maintaining a welcoming and nonjudgmental tone. A clean structure and intuitive navigation guide visitors to educational resources, step-by-step safety instructions, and a comprehensive toolkit of downloadable and shareable materials. The website’s responsive design supports mobile and on-the-go access, which is vital for the populations it serves.

By blending strong visual communication, practical tools, and inclusive messaging, KeepThePartySafe.org transforms harm reduction guidance into an engaging and actionable digital experience.
