Historic Locust Grove is a museum and historic site in Louisville, KY dedicated to preserving and interpreting the landscape and buildings of Locust Grove, and telling the stories of the free and enslaved individuals who lived and worked there. We designed and developed a new website that gives their communications team greater flexibility to engage their community. The design uses colors and textures from the local landscape and the historic home. We restructured the site navigation to serve multiple audiences and facilitate more intuitive navigation. We elevated the most important ways to connect with the organization, including planning a visit and becoming a member.
