The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and LightMedia Communicaions Ltd have developed a professional partnership spanning more than 10 years of mutual trust. The starting point for the implementation of the new MyBAUS area was a discussion where it was felt that building a Progressive Web App closely integrated with the BAUS CRM would be an effective, cost-effective and modern solution that deliver new, extra communications channel to the BAUS Members, generating better engagement and improving processes and options. There were three main technical goals for this project:

• Improve the process of and options for communicating with members.
• Drive member engagement with the BAUS site.
• Make it easier for different audiences to find the content that’s relevant to them on the site.
  LightMedia Communications Ltd proposed the following solution:
• Streamlining the way BAUS communicates with members in a practical sense through improvements to their CRM.
• Modernizing the current public web site though design changes, new navigation, and site structure
• Replacing the current MyBAUS private members only area of the website with a Progressive Web App.
