Susan Friedman Landscape Architecture creates environments that feel thoughtful, natural and effortless. Benjamin Katz Creative wanted the website to feel the same way.
Inspired by the experience of moving through a thoughtfully designed landscape, the site uses structure, pacing and gentle movement to reveal SFLA’s work as visitors scroll. Expansive project photography establishes the depth and quality of the firm’s experience, while glimpses into the “Bird’s Nest”, the firm’s casual collaborative studio, introduce the people and personality behind the landscapes.
The result is a website that communicates SFLA’s attention to detail and professionalism while capturing the warmth and approachability of the studio itself. It gives prospective clients a sense of both the landscapes SFLA creates and what it might feel like to work with the people who create them.
