Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) is the asset management arm of Legal & General (L&G). In 93 locations across the UK, LGIM has 9.3 million square feet of office space available for rent.
LGIM had the ambition to define the overall L&G office proposition, strengthen its market position, and enhance its business reputation. But it needed a more suitable digital ‘platform’ for its office spaces. One that would empower more effective communication with new and existing occupiers.
The LGIM team were looking to distinguish themselves from their corporate identity and develop an intuitive search experience that would allow users to easily connect to relevant office spaces. Built-in Umbraco 11, the new LGIM website has a bold and simple design, with slick micro interactions showcasing their modern, fresh approach and a real focus on the human touch.
With a solid parent platform in place, additional CMS modules were developed to allow LGIM and its portfolio of assets to quickly produce websites to promote their own individual workspace solutions. Functionality within the modular toolkit was introduced. This empowered a closer alignment to the assets, branding, and marketing collateral, as well as the ability to change both colour and typefaces. The end solution provides both a quick and commercially effective way of creating new websites.
Key highlights:
- Develop an intuitive search experience that would allow users to easily connect to relevant office spaces.
- A flexible CMS solution that provides both a quick and commercially effective way
of generating portfolio asset websites. - Creating a modern and fresh approach to design, to simplify the process of acquiring office spaces.
