A mobile app for learning the indigenous language – Kaiik’it

Just another mobile app for learning words? Not exactly! Kaiik’it stands for “community” in Gwich’in, and that’s what it is meant for – the cultivation of an endangered language. The app is more than an indigenous language-learning tool, though. It’s also a means of exploring the Gwich’in culture – which is why our designers used visual storytelling to incorporate elements of the local heritage within the software. High-performant, good-looking, and scalable app built in a relatively short time.
