In 2015, it was one of our first projects to launch the website for Médecins Sans Frontières Austria (MSF). After a relaunch of the website was put out to tender in 2020, we were very pleased to have been awarded the contract for the project once again.
The main wish was to present the many contents in a better way and optimised to the needs of the target groups, to further increase the number of donations and to better support job placements.
Accordingly, the project included subtasks such as information architecture (IA), design and user experience (UX), migration of the content, technical conception and implementation, as well as the integration of donation forms and support.
The project is a beautiful case study for a world-renowned organisation and shows how Open Software in general and Drupal in particular can best support an NGO and cover specific needs.
The website also shows that Drupal is a very good choice when it comes to enabling editorial teams to design content, landing pages, campaigns and donation forms in a flexible way, to put them online in a timely manner and to present them in a modern and appealing way.
Last but not least, we really enjoyed working on this project, also because of the good cooperation with the MSF team. The acolono and MSF staff put a lot of heart and soul into the project and would be very happy to receive an Award and the recognition that comes with it.
