The Berrima Quarter is a contemporary revival of one of New South Wales’ most historically significant sites. Formerly known as Berrima Gaol, the space has been reimagined as a cultural and hospitality precinct that celebrates architectural legacy while embracing new life.
Made Agency was engaged to develop a visual identity and digital presence that honoured the strength and materiality of the original sandstone structures. A custom typeface and an earthy, site-responsive colour palette—featuring copper, black, sandstone, white, and green—were used to mirror the surrounding landscape and architectural detail.
The resulting brand respects the site’s heritage while inviting a new audience to engage with it as a place of culture, experience, and design. It is a compelling example of how thoughtful branding can support architectural renewal—connecting past and present through clarity, texture, and place.
