The Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) is the UK’s leading organisation for promoting and preserving the religion and philosophy of Spiritualism. With a rich heritage and a diverse community of churches, members, healers, and students, SNU needed a digital platform that could unify and reflect its mission in a modern and accessible way.
Granite 5 delivered a complete transformation of the SNU website, rebuilding it from the ground up with a clear focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and audience engagement. The new site features a calm and contemporary design that reflects the spiritual values of the Union, while improving navigation, content structure, and ease of use for a wide range of users.
Key enhancements include a searchable church and healer directory, dedicated member resources, a restructured content publishing system, and improved mobile performance. The site is built on a custom WordPress framework with full WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
The new snu.org.uk offers a more intuitive, engaging, and spiritually aligned user experience — serving both newcomers to Spiritualism and the existing SNU community with clarity, purpose, and compassion.
