In August 1963, the Santa Barbara Zoological Gardens opened its doors to the public and has continued to serve and fulfill this mission: preservation, conservation, and enhancement of the natural world and its living treasures through education, research, and recreation. The Santa Barbara Zoo is one of the 220+ accredited zoos and aquariums that participate in Species Survival Plans (SSP), a cooperatively managed program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). More than 200 different species are managed through SSPs, aimed at maintaining genetic diversity within AZA populations, sustaining these populations, and guarding against extinction.
When the marketing team approached Speak to redesign their website, our team stepped up to make a wow-worthy website. The designers used dynamic video, custom graphics, and playful animation to bring this website to life. The Zoo also has a lot of needs, including selling tickets, showcasing all the animals, providing educational resources, selling merchandise, booking groups, providing memberships, and more. The Santa Barbara Zoo now has a stunning and functionally perfect website, check it out!
