The new platform includes three distinct frontends: badgleymischka.com, jewel.badgleymischka.com, and bridal.badgleymischka.com.
The multi-site setup leverages a shared shopping cart, enabling users to seamlessly navigate and shop across all sites without disruption. This was achieved using only native BigCommerce tools, eliminating the need for middleware, which streamlined the integration process and enhanced scalability. Additionally, Algolia was implemented to power site search, ensuring a fast and intuitive user experience.
The redesign delivered impressive results, including a 32.73% increase in conversion rates and a 9.58% boost in average order value (AOV). Significant improvements were also seen in site performance:
Desktop performance gains: Homepage (+14 points), PLP (+27 points), PDP (+30 points), and SERP (+16 points).
